Detecting instrument of cable fault analyzes, detects and pinpoints various faults of power cables such as short circuits, open circuit, high resistance flashover and high resistance leaking, etc. through modern detecting methods of DC HV flashover, inductance sampling of impulse HV, current sampling of impulse HV and low voltage impulse etc. In addition, FKDL instrument not only makes preliminary detection on short circuit faults and open circuit faults of controlling cable, city call cable and coaxial communication cable, but also collates total distance of cable.
Features
Applicable to test of various faults of copper-core and aluminum-core power cable and city call cable below 35kV. Velocity of common power cables including oil-immersed paper cable, cross-linking ethylene cable, non-draining cable and plastic cable is preset in equipment, and that velocity of some special cable can be temporarily preset with key on spot; there is no manual conversion of cable length and fault distance which is conversed by equipment automatically. Fault distance is displayed by equipment.
Applicable to test of open circuit and low resistance fault of various cables, and high resistance flashover fault and high resistance leaking fault of power cables.
Capable of auto analyzing simple fault waveform of open circuit and short circuit.
2 pieces of waveform can be displayed simultaneously on one screen (fault waveform, full view waveform), which is very convenient for user to analyze.
Panel micro-printer is installed in equipment.
Operating instruction is saved inside equipment.
Capable of onsite saving thousands of testing waveform, and no need to worry about power down.
Onsite waveform is copied and saved with 3.5″ floppy drive in equipment for communication and discuss between customers and manufacturers.
Standardized design of software. Equipment software can be copied to any PC.
Having the function of velocity measurement (propagation velocity of electric wave in cable) and time measurement (echo time of fault point).
